Ho Ho Ho Merry Christmas!!

Found these cute hats at Walmart. The kids love wearing them and saying "Ho Ho Ho Merry Christmas!" The crown on Reaggie's cracks me up!!

Hat?!?!

Reagann decided to make her bloomers into a hat! It was so funny watching her go to the drawer, grab them and try to put it on. When she couldn't get it she came to me for help. She handed me the bloomers and then leaned forward shaking her head. Lol! She may not be able to talk but she sure can communicate! Later she came and handed me a pair to try on! :)

Smile!!

Finally!! After taking my photography class I didn't get smiles for a long time. More funny faces or back of the heads than anything else... but today I decided to pull out the camera and they smiled!! Yeah!!



Still have to work on not moving the entire time and actually looking at me!! That is apparently a REALLY hard concept to learn. The phrase "Look at me!" really means "Look anywhere BUT at me!" :)

Next thing to work on... no blowing raspberries while you are supposed to be smiling (it makes you look like you are pouting) and group shots. For the life of me I can not get them both to smile at the same time or even look like they semi enjoy sitting by each other! :)

Balloon Fiesta!!

Well it started out rough waking the kids up at 6am but it was worth it! Neither one was happy about getting up. Ryan even said he would rather go back to bed in his pjs then go see the balloons... well it was more yelled then "said", but we won't get into that. :)



So I missed the "Look how many balloons there are" shots because I was practicing all the stuff I have been learning on my camera... so for those of you who have never seen the Balloon Fiesta...there are hundred of balloons that go up and are in the sky all at once. It's beautiful!

Blog Updates

I am very aware that I stink at blogging! It has been so long and there are even posts I wanted to add from Chistmas that I haven't done yet. It all got VERY overwhelming when I thought of all the old posts I had to do. So I am starting fresh and will hopefully keep up to date and slowly add the old posts in so I can catch up and have my yearly blog book. So keep looking and scroll down a bit to see if there is anything new. :) I actually wonder if anyone ever checks this thing anymore... lol... after not posting for so long I wouldn't blame you!

Sewing...

I have been sewing quite a bit. Some stuff for me, some for friends and some to sell. Mostly baby stuff, but I have a purse on the list of things to make for me. :) Our high chair cover has been pretty disgusting for awhile so one night I decided to cut it apart and make a pattern from it. Interesting experience...wasn't perfect but turned out pretty good and I like the fabric a lot more! :)

We celebrated Ryan and Reagann's birthdays a week late due to the Lake Powell trip. It was a Knight and Princess themed party. I figured Ryan wouldn't want princess anything a few years down the road. :)
